Over 700 meetings organised by MeetToMatch, over 90 exhibition stands and, ultimately, over 2,000 professionals in attendance – these are the final figures from the second Mad Games Show, which took place on 10 and 11 April in Madrid. The event also featured a jobs fair, mentoring sessions and numerous panels, talks and presentations.
All in all, the second edition was a great success, as the organisers also concluded. “Mad Games Show has demonstrated the strength and maturity of the video game industry in our country. The high level of participation, the quality of the professional meetings, and the institutional interest confirm that Spain is an increasingly attractive environment for development, investment, and talent,” said José María Moreno , director of AEVI Madrid.
And Antonio Fernandez, Secretary General of DEV, added: “This event is the result of a long-awaited project for both associations. It is essential for connecting studios, investors, professionals, and institutions, generating real opportunities, and continuing to build a competitive, diverse ecosystem with an international reach.”

The Mad Games Show is supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sport of the Community of Madrid.
Given the positive response, the two associations involved in the project, Asociación española de Videojuegos (AEVI) and Desarrollo Español de Videojuegos (DEV), regard the Mad Games Show as firmly established and see it as a boost for Madrid as a key hub for the video game industry in Europe.
