The third Caggtus Leipzig is still five months away, but interest is already high. Shortly after the start of ticket pre-sales, the LAN reached a record number of participants. The Entertainment Area is also very popular.

The third edition of the Caggtus Leipzig gaming festival will take place from 11 to 13 April 2025. A gaming festival with content creators, a freeplay area and hardware awaits visitors in one exhibition hall, while Germany's largest LAN party takes place in the other. Shortly after tickets went on sale, the LAN party already had a record number of participants (Tickets). "Caggtus Leipzig is growing - a trend confirmed by the third edition of the festival. We are thrilled about the strong demand from the community," says Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe. "Just like last year, we were able to surpass last year's figures just a few weeks after opening the ticket shop. This shows the great confidence the public has in our event, and we also feel this great support for the entertainment area."

The Entertainment Area in Hall 3 will once again feature a merch and hardware expo. What's new in 2025 is that hardware exhibitors will be able to sell their products directly from their stands. Project Director Constantin Strobel says: "With the direct sales option, we are not only fulfilling a major wish of the exhibitors, but also of our community. We listen carefully to feedback and want to offer the best festival experience for everyone. We feel a strong tailwind in exhibitor registration and look forward to an even more diverse Caggtus." There will also be a freeplay area with high-end PCs, a retro area, a pen and paper corner and a tabletop area - as well as the FPV arena. DoctorBenx will be one of the headliners on the event stage. Benx will be joined by two other headliners on the Event Stage, which will be bigger than last year. The Cosplay Contest will also be back.

Shortly after tickets went on sale at the end of October, the LAN area filled up so quickly that for the first time in the history of the gaming festival, more than 2,000 seats were sold. Last year's figures have already been surpassed. This is the third year in a row that Caggtus has broken its own record and, according to the organisers, has cemented its status as Germany's largest LAN party. After the Expert LAN Seats and the fully-equipped Legend LAN Seats sold out quickly, only the Beginner LAN Seats are still available.
