To showcase in-car entertainment, BMW and AirConsole are bringing the BMW i5 to gamescom in a unique gaming livery. They also announce a specially developed version of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" optimized for in-car entertainment.

BMW is using gamescom to showcase in-car entertainment. The Munich-based car manufacturer is working closely with its partner N-Dream AG. The Swiss company operates the casual games-oriented AirConsole platform, which is gradually being installed as a standard option in all new BMW models. Together they will present a BMW i5 with an exclusive gaming livery at the show, in which the AirConsole solution can be tried out.

In addition, BMW and AirConsole are announcing a special version of Sony Pictures Television's "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" optimized for in-car entertainment. The title is currently in development and is expected to be available in all BMWs with built-in AirConsole from 2024.

"With AirConsole, we are bringing a great platform for in-car gaming to our vehicles, which are constantly striving to deliver new, entertaining experiences. The addition of 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' is a perfect example of this," said Stephan Durach, Senior Vice President BMW Group Connected Company Development.
