The Amazon Fire TV app has been added to the growing list of platforms supported by GeForce Now. These include Windows and Linux PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, gaming handhelds, smartphones, browsers and smart TVs, among others.

The GeForce NOW app is now available on Fire TV, initially supporting the Fire TV Stick 4K Plus (2nd Gen) with Fire OS 8.1.6.0 and later, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen) with Fire OS 8.1.6.0 and later, and the Fire TV Stick 4K Max (1st Gen) with Fire OS 7.7.1.1 and later. It streams at up to 1080p60 with standard dynamic range graphics, using H.264 video encoding and stereo audio. Fire TV owners now have an even more powerful way to play on the big screen.
