To mark 20 years of stores in Japan, Ikea is cooperating with Pokémon Pokopia. While certain events will only be held in Japanese stores, the Ikea Island in game will be visitable from everywhere, featuring Ikea rooms and furniture.
Ikea is celebrating its 20th anniversary in Japan with a Pokémon Pokopia collaboration: Starting from tomorrow, April 1st, the game will include a special IKEA Island, in the game's Cloud Island Virtual Mode. This will be available from April 1st through June 30th.
On this island, special rooms in houses can be found. A version of them can be found in several Ikea stores in Japan. While the physical celebration and specials are concentrated on Japan, the island will be visitable around the world. There will also be a stamp rally at IKEA Japan stores from April 18th through May 10th to get a special display, Serebii reports from Japanese sources.
