At the Find Your Next Game (FYNG) showcase event of Webedia Germany/GameStar and their new Webedia Events division this Friday evening on the caggtus Leipzig stage, a new German strategy game has been announced – and two strong German games have been shadowdropped.

Limbic Entertainment, makers of Park Beyond, have exclusively announced their new game Corsair Cove, a city builder game in a Caribbean pirate setting. It is made with Unreal Engine 5.

Two games have been shadowdropped during the presentation: For one, the handpainted graphic adventure Venice After Dark by Sebastian Grünwald and Weltenwander, published by Artex, is available right now.

Additionally, Pithead have shadowdropped their first title Cralon, a dungeon crawler in the vein of old genre highlights. Pithead Studios are Jennifer and Björn Pankratz, former founders and heads of Piranha Bytes and the creatives behind the Gothic, Risen and Elex series. With their new game, they wanted to make an immersive sim adventure with the charme of their Western German style.

The FYNG show also saw the premiere of the Adeptus Mechanicus Faction Reveal Trailer for Dawn of War IV by King Art Games from Bremen as well as the premiere of the German version of The Blood of Dawnwalker featuring the voice actor for the hero Coen, Timo Weisschnur.

It also featured a “friendly takeover” of streamer Hand of Blood’s stream, which showcased the new games and projects from its publishing label Sidekick.

Additionally, several trailers and gameplay updates for numerous international titles were shown, such as Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, Tropico 7, Warhammer 40k: Dark Heresy, Emberville, and Die Gilde: Europa 1410.
