Nintendo is skipping gamescom this year, but is going on a summer tour from May to September, visiting various city festivals and family events. The company wants to appeal to gamers young and old.

Starting on 11 May, the Nintendo Summer Tour 2024 will transform public spaces into digital playgrounds until 15 September (not at gamescom). The aim is to appeal to long-time and new Nintendo fans alike. The tour will kick off at the 20th Children's and Family Festival in Stuttgart. Over the next four months, it will make stops in Berlin, Travemünde, Grömitz, Dresden, Leipzig, Cologne and Ravensburg, as well as twice at Legoland Deutschland Resort in Günzburg.

Nintendo will be presenting Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Princess Peach: Showtime!, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with the Booster Track Pass, Pikmin 4 and Nintendo Switch Sports. Luigi's Mansion 2 HD will be added to the line-up at all stops after 27 June.
