devcom is continuing two of its successful initiatives from previous years and is once again seeking partners for its scholarship program. Additionally, indie developers can now apply for the devcom Indie Showcase 2025.

Launched in 2024, the scholarship program was a success from the start, providing more than 200 young developers with free access to devcom and gamescom. Now, the devcom organizers are looking for industry partners, universities, and associations to support and actively participate in the initiative as official partners. Interested parties can apply until May 5. For further information, visit devcom's scholarship website.

At the same time, devcom has opened applications for indie developers wanting to be part of the devcom Indie Showcase 2025. The registration deadline is May 31, and a total of 20 free spots are available. Selected indie developers will receive a booth, one Business Pass, one Content Pass for the devcom Developer Conference (DDC), as well as visibility at the event, on social media, and the opportunity to network with publishers, investors, and the global games industry.

"The challenges facing the games industry are far from over. While many hoped that 'Survive to 25' would be enough, the reality might be 'Survival Mode sticks until 26'. Now, more than ever, we must come together to support emerging talent, ensure accessibility, and foster meaningful industry connections. Through our Scholarship and Indie Programs, we’re not only providing opportunities but actively supporting the future of our industry. By working with partners worldwide, we can give game developers the tools, networks, and resources they need – not just to survive but to thrive," says Stephan Reichart, Managing Director of devcom.
