Spoonful Games had revealed their first commercial game release at Gronkh's German Indie Showcase during gamescom. Bauhaus Bonk will release in spring 2025. After much praise, the title from Cologne will get a demo in the coming Steam Next Fest.

After Spoonful Games from Cologne revealed their new game Bauhaus Bonk at the Gronkh Indie Showcase during gamescom 2024, the studio is now preparing for the coming launch in Q1 2025. In the aftermath of the trade fair, the game had been met with some praise: For example, a nomination on the internet service provider vodafone's top list of gamescom. Now, Spoonful Games has announced a demo release. It will be released on 14 October in the course of the coming Steam Next Fest and feature a cross section of the game, including three tracks of music, twelve levels of varying difficulty and an asynchronous multiplayer component in the form of ghosts that show the best times of other players.

Indie game studio Spoonful Games from Cologne has revealed their first commercial release Bauhaus Bonk on Tuesday's German Indie Showcase by German celebrity streamer Erik "Gronkh" Range.

The Bauhaus-inspired arcade title is a single-button dexterity game. The game had been funded in two rounds by the Film- and Medienstiftung NRW: Once as a Prototype with 80,000 euros, once for Production with 40,000 euros. The game is supposed to release in Spring 2025.

"We are beyond excited to have been included in Gronkh's German Indie Showcase to officially announce our new game Bauhaus Bonk! Some of us are longstanding Gronkh fans and have been watching his videos long before we even became game developers. We came full circle in the best possible way.
