PeDePe and Aerosoft Launched City Bus Manager
City Bus Manager from PeDePe and Aerosoft has left Early Access. In the game, players can build a depot and manage bus routes in almost any city in the world, thanks to OpenStreetMap data.
City Bus Manager from publisher Aerosoft in Paderborn/Büren and developer PeDePe in Konstanz has been released. It is published under the Aerosoft Move label. The game has been in Early Access for almost a year and a half and has 90 per cent positive Steam user reviews from over 1,300 players. CCU-Peak was at the beginning of the Early Access in 986. At yesterday's full launch, the number of concurrent players reached 644. The publisher considers the Early Access phase a success.
The Full Release adds the Scenario game mode, ticket inspectors and new statistics for analysing the profitability of the company. In this Tycoon-style bus simulation, players build their own bus depot, complete with parking bays, garages, warehouses and maintenance stations, as well as service centres for ticket sales. But it is not only the passengers and customers that need to be taken care of, but also the staff. From their depot, players create bus routes that connect tourist attractions and take passengers to their destinations. Using OpenStreetMap data, players can choose to improve the bus timetable in their hometown, at least virtually, or in a place on the other side of the world. The map consists of real data, bus stops and points of interest, only cities in China cannot be selected. The game also features bus modding and Steam Workshop integration. When the game was still in Early Access at the end of 2023, the E-Bus & Green Energy DLC was released.
