This August, dear readers,

brings not only gamescom, but also new legislation on artificial intelligence in Europe. More specifically, it concerns the obligation to disclose the use of AI. Alongside many other sectors, this also affects the games industry. Sandra Spensberger has analysed the implications of the new transparency regulations in her column, and it’s not just of interest to those who are already using AI.

Alongside the new regulations, however, gamescom naturally continues to dominate our daily news cycle.
